Anyone else having an issue when closing the lid of the 3ds while in gateway (7.2) that it doesnt go into sleep mode but powers offf?

you don't even need emunand to play any of the games. at least from what i tried. I don't even have an emunand setup yet

You just go into Gateway mode and that's the flag to play games on your Mini SD Card. If you're in Gateway mode, it doesn't matter what Firmware the "Rom" is on. Emunand has nothing to do with booting up a rom.

That's still Emunand (4.x), but ok. Didn't know you didn't need to update.

No, it's not emunand. I still have 3.6gb or w/e on SD Card (4gb). If I was using Emunand, I should onlyl have 2.6gb ish free. Emunand is just to go Online and use some nand-related hacks.

to make Emunand,l you have to format the BIG SD Card and go through the NAND writing process on the SD, I never done that.

Yeah, emunand is only used for the following
1) To go Online (which you can't really do right now for most part)
2) To use new 3DS update features

Thanks for this Thread, with the coin hack I saw the other day, I decided to use them to finish the MiiPlace Games.
But it's Impossible since I changed my SD and MiiPlace want me to update.
Even if I accept, the 3DS freeze instantly and I can't use it

Is it possible to launch gateway 2.2 without the use of emunand? I know this was possible in the past but ever since I have tried using a formatted SD card with launcher.dat being the only thing on the root of it and I just get a black screen.

If its possible is multirom support working with it

f*cked up when I did the backup ...

With all these folders, in my Hard Disk, External Disk, SD, Gateway MicroSd ...

I made the mistake to delete the nintendo folder thinking it was a backup but it was in SD =(
