so utorrent wont download anything

well, everything in utorrent was going great until a few days ago when nothing it just stopped downloading anything!
I'm running at 2mbit (i've run tests so i know its the best option), (so far i've downloaded the led zeppelin discography, blind guardian discography, slayer discography, and 2 saxon albums).

Please suggest something, i'm clueless!

You getting your downloads off a private torrent site? Some sites don't allow certain versions of utorrent, so you'd need to update. Try that and see what happens.

Try turning off DHT.

I'd be nice if you gave us more details than just 'it's not working'. Where are you downloading from, pub or private site? Can you download from pub sites like mininova? Do you have a download cap? What ports are you using? Are you uploading anything/seeding at all?

which version are you using ?
do you see a yellow icon at the bottom of utorrent ?

i'm using 1.7.7, and there is no yellow icon.

all trackers for utorrent were down for a while on the day he posted. they were back up a day later.
i assume they're working again for him now as he hasnt replied.

well, i was away for the weekend, and yes, things are back up to speed.
