Hacking Sky3ds questions and Resident evil Revelations

Has anyone got this combo working?
Can't seem to launch the game on a sky3ds.
i get this game card cannot be used. it's a USA copy with USA 3ds XL.(NA lol)
Every single other game has worked for me flawlessly.
is there any way to add games manually to a template as well? for example i want to add ultimate nes remix into the template, would it be possible, if so how? thank you mane.

Had this sitting on my HDD. I'll test using DiskWriter 1.05 and template1222.txt and get back to you in a minute.

I will say that I accidently got a different region rom before that didn't work. Didn't realize it at the time. Is this possible in your case? Rom's region has to match console.

It would appear that I'm having the same problem as you. The game icon shows up but attempting to start it says this game card could not be read =[ Which template are you using?

latest one 1225, i guess the rom that is released is bad or the template is a problem idk, lol every other game works flawlessly. that is why i posted this for a solution.

Darn, I just started moving it using the latest one. We might want to try some older templates. Of course, Rom could be bad as well.

I believe it is. Looks like there was only ever 1 scene release for the USA version that was put out by Venom. Unless someone else ripped their own cart and posted online, there's not much we can try. It could just be Sky3ds just needs to update their template. They might not be aware it isn't working.

I tried it with my setup, and the game loaded, but I couldn't get it to stop corrupting saves for some reason. Even closing the game out and reopening it, which should still have it in the EEPROM intact, would corrupt it instantly.

However, I DID get it to work, and even save! I used your template, but modified it, and I used the tool on the rom. After a while, I was able to burn it as a CARD2 game, and now it saves and loads perfectly (for some reason).

There's a sticky that discusses in lengh various ways to break the red button limit. Method 1 involves converting games to a CARD2 format through a combination of editing the template and modifying the rom with a purpose-built tool. In situations where using EEPROM seems unstable, it works by completely bypassing it.

Basically, I used the tool there to edit the rom, I used the following template to burn it with, and I made sure it burned as EEPROM=no.
