Tried burning the disk and all I got was the "unnauthrised device detected" error, and loading from the USB doesnt work. In the case of the latter it boots the game, shows the splash screen, the 'psychological warning' screen, and then asks for the disk.

Seems to have protection. Be very wary of getting this before a workaround is public. If this is a botched game I'm going to be very disappointed I wasted my bandwith.

This game does indeed work from usb (i'm playing it as I type this) but I guess this release is bad. There is NO protection on this game

Just search is all I can say. It does exist out there. I can't say anymore without getting modded.

there has only been 15 revisions. 15 is a little unstable, rev 14 should play this game just fine.

Yeah 15 is what I have. Is it safe to go back down to 14? Do I just reinstall 14 over the top?

Same here. Running from the latest USBLoaderGX without any issues.

Plays like a dream. I know I am going to miss the sense of threat in the snowy/foggy world, but the exploration is awesome.
