9.6+, and yes that's true, but stay on the firmware you are on until a hack is released, it may take months before a new exploit is released and even then, it'll most likely only be capable of downgrading, as the only known ARM9 exploit that works on latest FW right now (which is needed for CFW) is ntrcardhax which requires a custom DS cartridge. All the work being done right now is for snshax/memchunkhax2 which are only useful for downgrading and not full CFW. Stay on 9.0 and enjoy CFW for now until it's safe to update.I read somewhere that N3DS may be able to run a more current emunand if the native firmware is 9.5+ since we will have the keys at boot, but I wasn't sure how accurate or reliable that really was.
