Here are a bunch of really impressive theme park 3d pics (not mine). The ice cream one will blow your mind!

Wow.. some of those REALLY pop out. If anyone downloads that, check out the duck and the ice cream. Most of what I've seen on the 3DS is depth, but there are some pictures in that one which makes it seem like it's actually coming off the screen.

You know you can adjust the the pop-out distance of any photo taken with the 3DS (Except AR ones) don't you? If you push left on the Circle Pad it brings the focus of the image towards you making it pop out more.

Those are some great pictures.
I bet they used a $9001 camera to take those.
Nope, they were taken on a 3DS. It's in the EXIF data of the photos.
They look so good because they're taken outside in good natural lighting. The 3DS cameras only really suffer under low-light conditions.

I've made some ocarina of time .mpo pictures taken from a youtube video from the user vd0man2. They turned out pretty good. Can I post them, or I can't?

Here are some pics I just took with spiritofcat's advice. Caution, the 3d effect is very strong! (it works best for me when I hold the system a little further away than usual and blink if it gets too uncomfortable.) I also used low light setting and 3 second delay to mitigate blur and graininess.

Edit: The one with the phone turned out very well, hehe.

Nice ones!
I think you might have gone a bit far with the pop-out adjustment though.
I dialed it back a bit to suit my preference.
My favourite setting is to have it aligned so that the table or the base of the object is at the level of the 3DS screen and then have just the object itself popping out.
That way the 3DS is still clearly visible and it looks like the object is really sticking out of it, rather than having the whole scene floating outside of the screen.

The one with the glass and the bowl of cereal is my favourite. I feel like I could reach out and touch the glass, it pops out so well.
The ones with the pen and pencil don't work quite so well because the pen or pencil sticks too far out to the side and doesn't match up as nicely for the 3D view. Especially the pen since it falls out the side of the image.
The one with the shiny taps doesn't work well for pop-out because the nearer tap originates outside the edge of the picture.

QUOTE(pokechar @ Apr 3 2011, 04:21 PM) Ok, here are the Ocarina of time pictures.

I don't know how to put images on the post, so I just leave the link here:

I uploaded them.

Oooh, that's the N64 version but with some updated textures is it?
Quite nice, though the one where link is running on the roof there's something wrong with the alignment of the roof. The rest of the image is fine but the roof just doesn't match up.
Similar problem with the last two as well. The ground and water don't match up properly under link and the sign he is chopping.

Did some AR fishing at work tonight.
Here are some photos of some of my new catches. Watch out for the Angler Fish and the Marlin, they pop out a bit.

Yeah, but that's the way the video was done. I suppose its a problem of the emulator.

I really like how Navi looks in this one.

tnx. I can't focus on those at all.
I can't see the 3D if the object breaks the screen.
Like if the whole object is in the image I can see it perfectly, but if any bit of it's cut off I can't.
Sorry. In the original post (with a woofiles dead link -- they suck), I warned that the 3D effect was VERY intense. You can dial it down with the slider, though.

Here's a better set of pics to "make up" for my transgressions (I did't take these, but they are from a 3DS!).

Edit: I posted these earlier. They're the 'theme park' set.
