Here's what I've been doing

I'll upload some more later using 3d porch. Thanks for the link Donald Serrot
Oh wow, lol. That's amazing.

Oh wow, indeed. I had caught a video over on GoNintendo with some minor tinkering, but that giant Mii is awesome! I can't wait to fool around with that. The really interesting thing about that, though, is that they're obviously forced to film the card image from a greater distance due to its size, which would suggest that you could, theoretically, do those kinds of AR images with any sized card image.

That's my 3DPorch gallery. I've uploaded all the pics I took with my 3DS so far.

This is probably my best one, at least for showing pop-out when viewed on the 3DS:

Next I'll upload my old manually taken 3D pics.
Edit: Done!
Here are the more impressive of the bunch:

Got some cool console game screenshots I converted for you to view on your 3DS at my thread here. Screens from games like mass effect 1&2, fallout 3, oblivion, Call of Duty, Crysis, HAWX, Left 4 Dead, etc. They're definitely worth a look if you've got the time ^^

Downloading and checking out all these pics from other people has really shown me how badly the 3DS needs a way of organising pictures other than just by date.
I've got over 300 pics on my 3DS now and they're all lumped in together with no options to organise them other than opening or closing the folder for each date.

FYI, this isn't photoshopped nor is that lump AR. He shoved a ball down his pants. No idea why.

And I have a 3rd one that can't be viewed properly except on a 3DS.
That second one looks very... wrong.

Especially the fact that it's moving.

Hahahaha, my thoughts exactly. Oh man ...

Yo dog,
We put a 3D dog near your 3D dog so you can look at your dog in 3D while your dog in 3d looks at your dog in 3D. Dog.

Also, cleaned up the first post a bit to make it a more 'authentic' feeling sticky thread.

Let me know if you would like your gallery featured, I only grabbed mine and Donald's since those were the only two I knew the links to.

Very cool, spiritofcat.

Stuck them on my DS and they look great.

Added you to the front, too.
Thanks!

For anyone who is interested, you can download all my 3DS photos so far here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/vh6vsv
And my converted manual ones here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/d30cmd
Just a bit easier than downloading and renaming individually from 3DPorch.

Oh and also, photos can be named anything in the format AAAA1111.mpo where A = any letter and 1 = any number and still work.
They don't have to be in the 100NIN03 directory either as evidenced by the Julie Watai pics. Hers are in 100_FUJI.
I've made different directories on my card and 100_GBAT worked, also 100_FUZZ and 100_SOCT, the ones I've used in my .7z files.

You, my friend, have a defective camera. One side is really warm while the other is cool.
That tends to happen a lot with the 3DS when taking photos in low light conditions. Especially when a light source is partially obscured in one of the two frames, like the view outside in the background of that image.
It generally isn't very noticable when viewing the 3D photo on the 3DS though.

Good, I was actually just browsing the Nintendo Repair options. I remember when the original DS came out, I got one of the units with a bunch of dead pixels. Nintendo shipped a brand new unit to me while I still had my old unit. Of course they had my card on hold if I kept the old unit past a certain length of time, but I was so pleased. If this truly was defective, I was hoping I'd be eligible for that again.

So this is pretty common with everyone else?

I've seen a couple of threads with people talking about having defective cameras but they mostly have one image tinted almost all the time.
Looks like yours works fine most of the time so I wouldn't worry about it, just to to make sure there's plenty of light when you're taking photos.

Well, I tried shoving the 3DS into the Virtual Boy viewer to see if I can take a 3D picture of a 3D game in the VB.... was too hard getting the 3DS cameras lined up with the two viewers in the VB. If someone has a VB without the felt around the viewer, then it might be possible as the images do align into one.
