OP
Hi all,

I am about to sell my 2DS, and I am looking into try and uninstall A9LH so it can pass all tests when I go to sell it at the local 2nd-hand shop.
I remember seeing that SafeA9LHInstaller had an uninstall feature from v2.0 onwards, however even in the latest version of the app I cannot seem to see anything that allows me to uninstall A9LH.

Unfortunately, I had a clean-up of my PC (to try and make some space) and deleted my non-A9LH backups from it, so I can't use a NAND backup either. :(

Any information would be greatly appreciated, as it's a bit confusing to see that SafeA9LHInstaller can't seem to uninstall A9LH even though it says that it can on the GitHub page...

Thanks!

Hopefully someone will back me up on this but in the SafeA9HLinstaller file, there's an A9loaderhax.bin file. I think you're suppose to delete the Luma A9loaderhax.bin file from the SD card and replace it with that one instead.

But that may not be allowed/legal where he lives, or in the shop he's trying to trade it in for.
I can even think of a valid excuse for banning doing what you want with things you paid for, but you have a point. There's still ebay.

I actually got £53 worth of store-vouchers for that 2DS. :yay3ds:
Anyway, I traded it in now. Along with my fat PS Vita which net me another £53, which altogether came to £106.

To all of you suggesting to flog it on somewhere like ebay or whatever, I was only looking to make some quick money, to be honest... not going through the whole delivery crap and stuff; I'd only do that if I had lots of 3DSs.

Oh, and if you're wondering what I bought with the money, I got a PS Vita Slim (£102 used). I feel they're a lot more visually pleasing than their fat counterparts. :yaypsp:

But, isn't the screen worse(?)
If both your vita and 2ds were in an 4/10 state before selling them i understand... Otherwise it's a rather odd choice

What do you mean? Both the screen of my 2DS and Vita Fat were completely fine.

However, I was looking to replace my Vita Fat because the Slim Vita has a better screen (Fat has OLED (subject to burns) whereas Slim has LCD (smoother and nicer colors)) and has better features (such as sleek design; internal memory card).

I have an O3DS XL and an N3DS XL to tamper with anyway. I never used my 2DS again ever since I finally got both the XL models.

So really nothing of value was lost.

Oh, i had it mixed up i guess. Most people seem to deliberately look for fat psV just for the OLED instead of the LCD although they know it has a worst battery life.

You have that backwards. LCD quality compared to OLED is terrible, there is no comparison.
Oh? I never knew that. I must've heard some misinformation then...

But surely OLED is prone to more screen burn-in though? (Plus I prefer LCD over OLED anyway...)
