Hello! I have a 2DS XL and have recently been looking into the possibility of using custom programs or firmware to enable 3D. I’d buy a 3DS, but as of right now they’re all going for absurd prices online. I found a program that can allow the system to display the stereoscopic double imagery, but I am unclear on whether or not the 2DS XL has a parallax barrier.
I tried testing to see if it had one using the developer config app, and controlling the “FLASH_TOP” config seemed to display the characteristic “scanline” look of the 3DS.
To be clear, I have no experience hacking. I’m just curious if this is even possible.
This is assuming that the 2DS XL also has the extra parallax barrier.
