Hacking Sell Flashcart

Can I sell a flashcart such as a R4i or Dstwo on ebay, or will i get banned or in trouble?

I don't think Ebay allows it anymore...

But if you advertise it for Homebrew and don't supply any ROMS with it then it should be okay...
I'm not sure anyways but it seems logical.

PayPal doesn't allow PayPal to be used for selling flashcarts, and PayPal is a daughter company to ebay... Sooo... I wouldn't risk it.

It doesn't have to be illegal for ebay to remove it from the site. They have their own policies too, and backup devices aren't allowed because it makes the big companies pissy.

Sort of like how gamestop doesn't carry flash carts. They want to keep Nintendo happy so they keep doing business (which is expected there as they carry the products).

Ebay will remove your listing, and paypal might freeze your account (locking you out from any money in it too).

I wouldn't risk it.

Doesn't matter if it is legal or not, eBay and PayPal policies prohibit flashcart.

I think with DMCA flashcart is illegal in US.

You can sell it here on the forum, in the trading section.
If eBay finds out they'll delete the listing. If PayPal finds out, they might ban your account. Flashcart retailers have been getting their PayPal accounts banned, but whether they'd do the same just for a one time thing, I don't know.

Gray area at most (probably legal), and that is for another discussion.

But yeah, Ebay/Paypal don't care, they can refuse these sort of things, since its their service/company.
