I see, I thought bootmii was directly install into the boot2. Can we replace this boot.dol by something else ??

No, bootmii is launched from the sd card.

cBoot2 allows wad manager and potentially other homebrew apps to be launched using boot2.

What was installed into boot2 is code that will first look on the SD Card for armboot.bin and other things to launch. If it doesn't find those, it'll continue through the Wii's normal boot process.
