That requires the screws to be already halfway through, they arent in my caseI'd suggest using a pair of locking vice grips/ pliers, and the screwdriver together. Lock on to the screwdriver with the pliers, and keep pressure down on the screwdriver as you attempt to turn them lose. Kinda like this:

No this is how you would get them to "break" loose, using the pliers as extra leverage to turn the screwdriver. That requires the screws to be already halfway through, they arent in my case

I cant
Having the right size screwdriver makes all the difference, you'll just strip the screws if you keep trying with the wrong size. It shouldn't cam out easily.I mean, the screwdriver I used (and the smallest I could find at home) seemed to be slightly bigger that the screws
In the instructions it says to use #0, I'm guessing that's the correct one as #000 is really tiny. I've never used the #000 bit in my iFixit kit, the smallest the Switch screws go is #00, and I don't remember the 3DS battery cover screws being smaller than that.It says to use Philips #000

Get a jeweller's screwdriver set. They're dirt cheap, all DIY stores should have them.I cant
I still cantGet a jeweller's screwdriver set. They're dirt cheap, all DIY stores should have them.
The iFixit kit has way more stuff, to be sure, and can open a lot more things than a jeweller's screwdriver kit, but for just small size Philips and flathead screws, a jeweller's kit will do the job fine.
I don't have my own purchasing power, and I don't want to ask my parents for one either because I don't like acting like that. Why not?
You "don't want to" is not the same thing as you can't. Suck it up and ask, or deal with not being able to open the battery cover. There's no guarantee you'd be able to unscrew it, but a set of small screwdrivers is a useful thing to have around the house anyway, not just for your sake but for anybody in the house.I don't have my own purchasing power, and I don't want to ask my parents for one either because I don't like acting like that.
Its not for the battery, its for putting the top screen in placeSuck it up and ask, or deal with not being able to open the battery cover.
Oh boy, good luck with that. That's an annoying repair. Its not for the battery, its for putting the top screen in place
