saving gamecube backups?

    not the save files, I mean to copy the iso. I read somewhere that they read backwards, and another place said they read as dvd's.
    I really don't have any idea if it can be read without additional hardware other than a dvd burner.

    anyone know of a good program to copy and backup gamecube iso's?

    doesn't imgburn only write to dvds? if it can somehow read and copy, how do i do that

    use the create image file from disk

    windows - imgburn
    linux - dd if=/dev/dvd of=/path/to/iso/file.iso
