seems like this version is plagued by texts getting cut off and typos... at one point, i saw this Strength Shining Jew... i was like, wtf?

maybe it's the font change that induced all these text mishaps...

Some text scrolls, so it might look cut off.
scrolls to the right? like in a dialogue window? they do that?

EDIT: i remember the scrolling text you mentioned... but those use the original tiny fonts, not the fonts that they're using now. and besides, those scrolling text are too obvious.

Smaller text, like when the dad gives you the treasure. That text scrolls so it appears cut off if you just mash A.

Does anyone here know how to make it work on the TTMenu/YsMenu for DSTT? or have you tried endsrypts andvance on it?

Have the same situation here folks.... freeezes rigth after the dad jumps out..

Anyone have any ideas?

And yes I tried both regular patch and alt patch.

EDIT: Oh and I got one of those "N-cards" pretty old card... but still im not going to buy a newer one just to play an obscure japanese remake.

Patched the clean ROM successfully (had to use a Windows machine for the included patching program, didn't work in WINE on Linux, even with Mono). The game seems really good and I only just gave it a quick try.

Looking forward to SaGa 3 translation, loved going about in the Talon in the Gameboy version.

You do know that there is a native xdelta patch program for Linux, right? Also note that there are two main ones in use, xdelta and xdelta3. In this case, it is an xdelta 1.0 patch so you do not use xdelta3.

Clearly I didn't but thanks for the information. It makes sense that there'd be some patch and diff programs on Linux, but I thought if there was then they'd have mentioned it.

Thanks for the information.

There is no current patch for Linux or Mac. At the present time you must patch using Windows and the xdeltaUI mod.exe program that is included with the patch. Eventually I will look at doing patches for Linux and Mac users, but currently I do not have the time.
