I've been reading the forums for a while and I am curious if it's possible to load games from a SD card on a chipped wii. My guess is not yet due to the signed code issue but I just thought I would ask.

There have already been some early attempts at doing this. F-Zero (SNES) was released a while ago but apparently it doesn't work. However, I wouldn't be surprised if in the future this became a reality.what about using it to play unofficial VC games. THAT would be interesting
Interesting. Thanks for the info!you can run GC homebrew including game console emulators easily from the SD card. just put the SDLOAD DVD into WII, and your GC DOL's to the SD card (in GC gamecard slot A). After SDLOAD starts you are limited to GC hardware, eg an only use GC controller.

Anyone feeling like making a European version of the iso?
I don't think SDload is the problem, mainly because some people do get it to work using GCOS. Probably the header info on the disc is USA which tells the Wii not to load itAnyone feeling like making a European version of the iso?
ehm hum, doesnt it work on PAL, did never think of it.
there is only one SDLOAD.DOL used in all SDLOAD ISO's as far as know,
so if it does not work on PAL then its possible the SDLOAD.DOL the reason.
unfortunatly the SDLOAD sources are not available so it cant be recompiled,
need to rewrite from scratch.
