RUMOR More Possible Smash Bros Universe Images And Information Leak

A number of sketches and an information sheet which is reportedly from Super Smash Bros Universe have managed to find their way onto a Japanese imageboard and have been picked up by 4Chan. Along with the character sketches more information has leaked about the characters that will be making an appearance. Super Smash Bros has already been confirmed for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

It says something about using crocodiles (Kremlings/Klaptraps?) as part of his moveset, along with cannonballs. The last line describes using great power to summon his ship. It will then fire cannonballs on the stage. (Final Smash?)
Ghirahimu
Uses a sword and evil magic. Final Smash is calling his master.
Crystal
Will use a magic stick. She makes barrier and shoots fireballs. Final Smash involves dinosaur friends?
Saki Amamia
Acrobatic sword user with a fast gun. Final Smash is a bit iffy. Something monsters or something.

Anyway, I wouldn't be too surprised to see K. Rool in the game as a playable character. They've had trophies and such of Kremlings before.

I very highly doubt this is true given development hasn't even started. There was a fake leak when SSBBrawl was being developed where some guy who claimed he was in the team writing the strategy guide posted the full character roster at IGN and after the game was released quite a few he mentioned were missing. Some of these characters really might be in the game, but that doesn't make this leak real.

They were taken from 2ch first, the Japanese image board.
As for reliability...they're often the first place information like this shows up.
Then Japanese blogs.
Then places like http://www.andriasang.com/ (Which, incidentally, often updates around the same time 2ch news/rumor threads update.)
Then gaming news sites/blogs.
Then 3 weeks later on Kotaku.

But yes, as with all rumors, take it with a grain of salt.
And keep in mind that development doesn't need to have started for planning and rights acquisitions to be happening.

OMG, i swear some people here are just stupid. Sakurai has finished with kid icarus all ready. His team is only giving the final touches to the game. The have all ready started pre production for SSBU it obvious. They want to have a demo or a trailer ready for e3 2012 to excite people about the wii u. Com-on think people, its all about money.

They haven't touch anything on them just announce them. In fact, you might as well say the games don't even exist yet. They didn't do anything. They didn't make any sketches, they didn't have any reunions about they didn't even talk about it since they announced them. In fact, they probably never thought about them either.

How can 4chan have sketches that don't exist is a mystery to me. Oh wait, that's the drawing the 5 years old kid living 2 blocks from where we live drew.

Well why I'm not in anyway defending these rumors, it's just basically concept art and ideas so it's not like they're really "starting" the game or setting it into major development. If these rumors are true then they're probably just making these on their lunch breaks during Kid Icarus development.

I do agree that this doesn't seem all that reputable. The sketches are just sketches and I can't really decipher that paper (not knowing Japanese and the image quality is rather poor). Definitely quite shaky.
