Rock Band Wii Confirmed

EA confirmed today that a Wii version of Rock Band is coming out. No release date yet though.

European versions of the game for Xbox360 and PS3 were also dated for second quarter of 2008.

amazing!! can we assume GH3 guitar will work as bass? boogie mic will work? as long as there are downloadable songs i could care less about online play. 4 people in the same room is the only way to play rock band

According to wikipedia:

"A Wii version of the game was officially announced on December 18, 2007 by Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello. [16] There is currently no release date announced for this version of Rock Band."

I'm to lazy to check the source, maybe wikipedia got the date wrong?
