Hello Everyone,

Here's the story:

I got bricked switch from a dude on the web.
I paid aprox 50 bucks and I don't have any information about what happened, I know he doesn't have any backups, it's all on my own...

I know it has 9 burnt fuses.

It only show the nintendo logo, after that, the screen stays black.

I made a backup of the state I got it, and I tried a few things.
I used ChoiDujour to make a fw 5.1.0 and transfered all the part to my switch with this guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...nofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/
that didn't work

I found a 6.2 version of the same firmware backup flashed it, but the clean boot0 and boot1 I flash messed with the keys, if try to use biskeydump, it doesn't work.

Is there a way I can put my keys into the blank BOOT0 and BOOT1 backups

Or maybe there's a way to flash firmware 7.0.0+ from the PC?

Maybe anyone has any other ideas? I just started learning about CFW in the swicth for a few days...

Thank you all for your time.

are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
