It won't detect any bios when I do that.Try putting the bios files in uxo:data/retroarch/system and see what happens then.

No worries man, hopefully you find Adventure Red as fun as I didOh cool. Thanks man. Also I meant to say pokemon fire red. Not pokemon red. There's a difference. Lol.
Is this crash when you just start to run a game or at some other point?Still crashes. Same C2-12828-1 error.
Mostly when I start the game, but for Valkyrie Profile and Guardian's Crusade, I can get to the first opening video/display.Is this crash when you just start to run a game or at some other point?
Right, it might be worth trying a different rom for the games that don't work and report back on your results.Mostly when I start the game, but for Valkyrie Profile and Guardian's Crusade, I can get to the first opening video/display.
I see. Well, thanks. I have come across another problem, though. I get consistent crashes within PCSX when running a number of different games as .pbp files. For example, Clock Tower. The pbp files I'm using come from my PSP and work fine on there. I'm wondering if there's a detail here that I might be missing.
For the record, I've been able to successfully run a few of the games in the absence of the BIOS files. If it is the pbp files, then should I try downloading them once again? I'm fairly certain they're not corrupted, but for the most part, with the exception of Spyro, I can't even make it to the main opening menu of the game without a crash. Below I have a screenshot of the bios I have.
I've tried copying and pasting a game to the ux0://data/ directory, but got the same results.

No, I'm fairly positive these were made with PSX2PSP a while back. VP, Guardian's Crusade, MML, and others aren't(or weren't) available for purchase on PSN. Thanks for the bios tip, though. Is there any particular one for JP games I should use?you're not trying to use psn versions of the games are you? those will never work with this and either only load up the bios menu or crash....as for bios the ONLY files you need are 7001 for usa games and 7502 for eur games
Try using SCPH1000.BIN spelled exactly like that. Thanks for the bios tip, though. Is there any particular one for JP games I should use?
@Imhullu Also make sure to use bin/cue format with PSX emulator. UltraIso or other program can convert ISO from PSX2PSP to Bin/Cue. As far as I know that is the only format that work right now.
There is an option for that in the video settingsI might get shit on for this but is there a way to run it in 16:9? I just prefer it to take up the whole screen.
