you have the 3rd strike hack to launch?I just wanted to see if the speed increase since I last tried it
You are able to launch 4th strike, so?Why do people think it won't launch? If it launches on standard PC FBA...
quit giving false info about the bios first off the latest dumped and most compatible usa bios is SCPH7001 making SCPH5501 so outdated and for EUR games the latest dumped and most compatible is SCPH7502...can somebody edit the main thread so people actually know what bios to useThe bios must be SCPH5501.BIN, not zipped.
The games themselves can be whereever you want, as long as Retroach can access the folder.
Retroarch willl not be able to identify the latest BIOS. The only BIOS that it can and needs to read are SCPH5500, SCPH5501 and SCPH5502 according to the libretro wiki. I had to have all three of them in my BIOS directory for the PSX reARMed to stop giving me the BIOS not found error.quit giving false info about the bios first off the latest dumped and most compatible usa bios is SCPH7001 making SCPH5501 so outdated and for EUR games the latest dumped and most compatible is SCPH7502...can somebody edit the main thread so people actually know what bios to use

Are you sure? It did not work for me, no matter how hard I tried.1001 is also detected
1001 as i mentioned is ONLY for usa games but its also extremely outdated as its the original biosAre you sure? It did not work for me, no matter how hard I tried.
This is copypasted directly from the wiki
PCSX ReARMed looks for the following BIOS image files inside the frontend's 'System Directory'.
In case it can find no BIOS files named like this inside the 'System Directory', it will default to a High-Level Emulation BIOS. This decreases the level of compatibility of the emulator, so it is recommended that you always supply valid BIOS images inside the system directory.

The wiki could aways be a little bit outdated, but I don't think so. It kept throwing the "No BIOS found" thing at me until I put the three BIOS mentioned in the wiki (SCPH5500, SCPH5501 and SCPH5502).
you can find changelogs to the hardware themselves for each model but nothing that tells you that 7000+ fix problems in games such as wild armsIs there a "changelog" about the PSX BIOSes?
from the sounds of it you might be using eur games if 1001 didn't work so you might want 7502The wiki must really be outdate then. Forgive me.
I'll try with the 7001 eventually.
I'll try it then. Is there a problem if I just leave all different BIOS files inside the folder?from the sounds of it you might be using eur games if 1001 didn't work so you might want 7502
as long as you only have 1 bios per region it will be fine the bios are only loaded depending on the region of the game so an 01 bios for example which is a USA bios will not even be detected by a EUR gameI'll try it then. Is there a problem if I just leave all different BIOS files inside the folder?
little update. rebuild final burn and add game&watch
