The file you refer isn't PBT, but the first pasta POC with MSET entry point. It boots every time but can't install devmenu.
I know bcause i released both the two.
Once you instaled devmenu, you can use pasta for everyday needs (but now is better to use RXTools3 beta).
If the MSET was crashing, you where using the wrong rop: Palantine CFW launcher.dat have two version, one encrypted to be used with gateway rop, and one unencrypted to be used with the open source rop. None of the two are released by me, refer to the right thread for more information.
The boot.bin file is the same in both cases, so isn't related to the crashing events.
If it doesn't crash, but never boots, well I know it can happen. Usually it boots 50% of times, but sometime the memory is in a weird situation and it never bots. Opening a couple of application or games before trying again seems to help.
