The file you refer isn't PBT, but the first pasta POC with MSET entry point. It boots every time but can't install devmenu.
I know bcause i released both the two.

Once you instaled devmenu, you can use pasta for everyday needs (but now is better to use RXTools3 beta).

If the MSET was crashing, you where using the wrong rop: Palantine CFW launcher.dat have two version, one encrypted to be used with gateway rop, and one unencrypted to be used with the open source rop. None of the two are released by me, refer to the right thread for more information.

The boot.bin file is the same in both cases, so isn't related to the crashing events.

If it doesn't crash, but never boots, well I know it can happen. Usually it boots 50% of times, but sometime the memory is in a weird situation and it never bots. Opening a couple of application or games before trying again seems to help.

I didn't plan for long term use of Palantine CFW, PBT or MSET PASTA CFW. I need an agency to use Sysupdater so as to safely update to 9.2. I just learn about DevMode in Rxtools later. The problem between this specific O3DSXL and Rxtools is when at firmware 4.2, the FBI injection doesn't work (injection was successful, but boot up as normal H&S app in RXmode sysnand & devmode).

@nop90 what is special about this, what else is patched in the cfw becuase with pbt we can install personal legit cias but with gw, minilasta, more i am sure, we cannot install these cias. (but pirated cias install fine lol)

i never used palantine before so i don't know what it did.
(i think it was only if you needed to send the devmenu cia over the network, but i don't need that...)

Maybe you have to use an older version of the tools.

Any chance you could help @cearp and others by releasing any info you have on getting personal legit CIAs to install.
Even with a9lh, I would like the ability to backup all my eShop purchases as legit CIA for my console but there is no point if I cant install them.
