I am using the cia version, so I might try to use the 3dsx version or whatever

If you only wants a FTP server homebrew, then just only use another specific app for that (like "ftpd" or "3DShell").

And if you (or someone else) requires a "homebrew shop" style app, then use "Universal Updater" in change.

This app is obsolete at all.
