Homebrew [Release] FBI - Open source CIA installer

I booted browserhax then Pasta CFW.
Then I booted browserhax then FBI.

I tried to install FBI.cia and I got "Error could not initialize AM service"

I tried everything again, still the same error. What's this mean?

Has anyone else run into the issue of FBI not running on a downgraded N3DS? When launched from HBL 2.5, it hangs on a black top screen with a red bottom screen. I can run emunand and rxTools just fine, but for some reason FBI and Encrypt9 both fail. (Encrypt9 boots me back to the HBL) I'm also unable to inject fbi into the H&S app on N3DS as well, maybe that's also part of the problem?

Everything worked fine when I downgraded my o3ds a few months back, I wonder what's changed

I can run and install cias but I can't launch stuff from inside FBI. It just hangs, that's my only issue.

I'm pretty sure that's the error for when you do not have access to the kernel, what version are you running, what version of FBI?

Fbi 1.4.1 on sysnand 9.0 via Pasta CFW. I never seen this error, but eh I'll just use gateway mode on sysnand + Devmen if I need to install cia's on sysnand in the future.

Just wondering, has anyone successfully installed DLC cias with FBI? I'm using rxtools so I can install non-legit cias fine but for some reason DLC never showed up so I had to use bigbluemenu.

If you're on 9.2, you can install any CIA. I believe you need cfw first though.

Starting rxmode I believe. Also make sure to not install CIAs to sysNAND because that's apparently bad for the system.

Hi, I am using FBI 1.4.17 on Browserhax on my 10.3.0-28E Old3DS (Ali think using the FBI.3dsx file). Of course I am on the "basic" FW, not CFW. My problem is that when I try to install CIA files, FBI returns me an error.

What can I do? I'm sure it's not the .cia file, because even FBI.cia returns me this error.
In case there is no possibility to resolve this error, what should I do to install ROMs and other .cia files without having any type of gateway/flashcards or similar devices?

If you need more info to help me resolving this error, please ask what you need to know.

You're gonna need to be in emuNAND or a CFW to install the cia.

If you have rxTools, enter it while holding the L button. Scroll to the right and under "Advanced Options" select "Install FBI."
You will need 2 files on the root of your SD card to install. If you don't have them, you will receive an error telling you what you're missing.

You cannot install any cias through homebrew launcher to your emuNAND.
To install cias, it must be done while in emuNAND/rxtools mode through FBI.
