No problem. My native language is English as well, and my Japanese is just conversational. Oh you worked at Heisei? That's pretty cool.
Eh it's worth a shot if you can read some basic words and grammar, N5 is fairly easy to pass.
Not a problem, I was just curious because I often seek out users who are proficient in Japanese to be recruited for some projects I have. I noticed you had Japanese in your signature, and just thought I'd see where your skillset was at.
I think that if you have an interest in the language, you should absolutely commit to it and develop it, because it can really be worth a lot once you put the hours in.
Nah, my interest is rather muddled. My sister wants to learn though so i'll probably have to pick it back up soon. But from my experience at the restaurant, i'm not really interesting in being a translator full time. (I had to be the middle man between the Japanese staff, Spanish staff and english staff. It was terrible, lol)
