Citra CXI Maker v1.3 (2021-02-15)

auQcqLO.png

Description:
Convert and update your 3ds/cci/cia/cxi files to
stripped, region-free, unencrypted cxi files
for usage in Citra emulator.
Doesn't work with DLCs.

Features:
- accepts 3ds, cci, cia and cxi files as input
- accepts folder as input for batch operation
- works with special characters in both path and file/folder names
- if second input file is specified its exefs/romfs contents and exh are going to be merged into main file
- accepts drag-and-drop input onto script (drag by main file when main+update selected to merge them!)
- outputs cxi for use in Citra emulator
- output can be plain-stripped and logo-stripped (optional via config.ini)
- output can be region-free patched (optional via config.ini)
- output is unencrypted

Usage:
citra-cxi-maker <main-file> [<update-file>]
citra-cxi-maker <main-folder>
...or drag-and-drop.

Bugs:
- caret character (^) in path/file names will break the script

Changelog:
v1.3 (2021-02-15)
- added batch support
- added configuration file
- made region lock and logo/plain removal optional and disabled by default
v1.2 (2020-06-23)

Hello, how do i use this, when i open it it says:

citra-cxi-maker <main-file> [<update-file>]
citra-cxi-maker <main-folder>
...or drag-and-drop.

what does that mean and what does it want me to do, whenever i press a button the thing closes

@but The tool you have downloaded comes compressed as a zip archive along with the other files it depends on. If you try to use it straight from within the archive it won't work. All the contents of the archive need to be extracted first (Right click on it > Extract all) into a new folder. This is the very basic first step you need to do for every archive you ever come upon unless you are sure whatever is inside has no dependencies. Once extracted, drag-and-dropping your game file onto citra-cxi-maker will output a new cxi file into the newly created output folder.

@Jayro, I never went to any convention but I like the idea of being in one

It's so fun, almost all my cosplays now are crossplays. ^_^

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, That's cool. I have met feminine guys before in woman's cosplay, think one was dressed up as a character from Sword Online. Very cool to speak with. :D

  • Jayro @ Jayro:
Yep, honestly so kind and refreshing. The entire convention is just FULL of the nicest people you'll ever hang with. I haven't met a rude person there yet.

  • Jayro @ Jayro:
It garners around 8,000 to 10,000 people per year, fluctuating a little.

@Jayro, I think there are some conventions here at Venezuela, but only in Caracas and I don't live there
  • Jayro @ Jayro:
Eventhough I live in a busy city, the majority of big conventions happen in L.A. and Seattle, opposite ends from me. I'm stuck in the middle.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Jayro, Caracas is like 77 miles away from here
  • Jayro @ Jayro:
    That's just a short drive.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @Jayro, yeah I guess
  • Jayro @ Jayro:
America is so huge and everything is spaced out so far apart, that I feel like we just accept a 77 minute drive as short.

    @Jayro, I miss conventions a lot.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I still go to them, but it's mostly computer-related, would love to go to Comic Con.
  • Jayro @ Jayro:
@Xdqwerty yeah, you're definitely one of us. :3
