not really anymore. there was the other odd one. most got abandoned and moved over to luma

CakesFW technically still exists in the form of Ammako's fork. It isn't being actively updated anymore, but should be fully functional regardless even on latest official firmwares. Kinda useful for those who want a simple lightweight CFW or might need to test something with certain patches disabled/enabled (that Luma won't allow doing), though I probably wouldn't recommend it for newbies and anyone else not knowing what they're doing in general.

On topic of alt CFW options, I guess there's also Polari3DS, which is based on Luma with some original features added; haven't tested that one myself, so can't really say anything about it.

In the past there was Gateway, rxTools, CakesFW, Corbenik, and ReiNand. At some point there was the AuReiNand fork, which was later renamed into Luma3DS.

There were some other projects like Palantine and Pasta CFW, which as far as I know were not widely used (Pasta was mainly just signature patches).

None of these projects except Luma3DS are active anymore.
