The problem with skys

If you have been following Cemu since it's initial release you might remember that there have always been issues with rendering skys in many games. (See these older videos: Wind Waker, Mario Kart 8) While we did find solutions that worked for certain games, the root cause remained a mystery that was never really solved, until 1.6.4 that is.

I wish this fixes the skybox in SM3DW for AMD HD5XXX and HD6XXX series (OpenGL 4.4)!

Finally there will be an improvement in full screen mode now yes this emulator is getting very good, thanks exzap for great work with cemu.

What about Fatal Frame 5 it used to work all the time .. don't tell me they make the game crash again on start up screen on purpose since the issue started with 1.6.3 version

Not on my book @shanzo , if this game doesn't work its purposely doesn't work so there's that , you are going to tell me that some :

• Graphic improvements
• Rewritten audio core
• Bugfixes

are going to affect FF5 from booting ? now that what i call delusion
they promoted Fatal Frame 5 on all the performance videos before and i will not pass judgement until i see it booting fine like it used to
i respect their work but things like this triggered me the most , i just hope they don't play with our time and emotions , i ❤ CEMU !

@Shinox, this happens all the time in other emulators. Some features may work by chance even if they are incorrectly implemented because some other parts of emulator are wrong too. And when you fix some elements to get correct behavior suddenly other components aren't playing nicely and won't work anymore. You don't see this in Cemu because it's closed source and you can't know what is going on. Any of those three reasons you mentioned can cause break.

Um... yes? Changing how code works can adversely affect other sections of the code. Feel free to take off your tinfoil hat any time you want

Because from cemu.info FAQ as I quote

Why is Cemu so slow and will performance ever improve in the future?

Since Cemu is in such an early state it is more sensible to focus on accuracy and then, once that's nailed down, start work on optimizations.

I've been playing it. Seems to work alright for me. I've made it to like the 4th world now, without any problems.

i test with cheatengine ...not change ..slow again ...fps 5 or max 9 .....i think this is beacuse cemue not have option for change resolution ....dolphin emulator have this option and when change resolution ..speed up....but this stupid thing cemue not have this options.

What is your PC? Cemu might just be way too intensive for your PC. It's in it's early stages so expect poor FPS on low end PCs and not many settings.

I find it hilarious how you're hating on WIP emulators. For one both are up a generation so expect it to be way more demanding. Upgrade your PC or buy the actual console, or wait a year or 2. In terms of Citra that hasn't even really had much optimization still, that i'd imagine would run fine in more months to come when dynaric gets worked more on. Man the entitlement of some people. You're playing a $200-300 console on your PC for free smh.
