yeah gamepads are better than keyboard. i have been having tough times with the keyboard on splatoon. Unfortunately, i don't have any game controllers.

lol try this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-X...id=1469710402&sr=8-1&keywords=xbox+360+pad+pc

No battery needed.

I bought this one cheep as chips for £5.12, although you need new driver from microsoft for 7s that you can use with windows 10

Although lol took some time to deliver .

Are for original xbox 360 pad - https://www.amazon.co.uk/747400-Wir...-2&keywords=Xbox+360+Wireless+Gaming+Receiver

-----------

If any good for compiling it and added it here! ^^^^^ that will be welcome, and appreciated :)

due to personal reasons, it isnt easy to ship things in. i dont even have a postal address, and i am really low on cash. saving to buy and external hdd with large capacity. anyway i will use this opportunity to practice my programming by playing around with a few open sourced android gamepad apps.

Mario Kart running very well for me now and colours on track are not messed up (atleast i havent noticed).

My spec:
6700k 4.5Ghz, 16GB 3000Mhz CL14 RAM, GTX 970 1550/3850Mhz.

Im getting 60fps in GP Mode, except the first lap where there are a few stutters as the shadercache builds up. Consecutive races in my first Cup were very smooth. Still some audio issues, the "chirp" noise on drift, and are the engine sounds missing?

Im going to try the ?Circus? level in Mario 3D Land as that had terrible slowdowns in the reflective mirror areas.

The Circus level is still slow but it seems that the area the stutters get triggered is smaller this time.

No, I have AMD gpu and also have dark trophy.

Ah, what we meant is the Special Cup Trophy.
All the other trophies are dark but the one for the Special Cup looks alright.

My Mario Kart trophy at the end of the cup was also black (nvidia gtx 970).

The Level 1-5 in Mario 3D World is still not performing well, drops to 10fps, then recovers to 30fps in hard times. Rest is amazing though, good work.

I have a GTX 960.
The Special Cup Trophy's textures show up properly. I'm going to try and see if the Lightning Cup will also appear okay.

Edit: I just found out that Dry Dry Desert's lake water texture is black from the outside!
Everything looks okay underwater though - I can see the sky from there.

That's the only track where the racers' colors look washed out, right?
The only time the colors become washed out for me is if I have "Enable compressed textures" unchecked but that's how the entire game looks, not just for that track.
I'll try toggling that because it's all the 3D rendered models that are washed out looking.

I wonder why it looks okay on my PC....?

I just completed all the Retro Cups and only the Leaf Cup looks alright.

(I tried Print Screening it again while it was facing the front but I guess I didn't press the key hard enough. I exited Cemu and was surprised the clipboard still had the back-facing one. I'm too lazy to try the whole cup again just to get another screenshot. :-P)

And here's the Lightning Cup...

They forgot to polish and buff it. >_<

@Lightpost Looks like that did the trick, now the game actually looks really damn nice! Thanks for that.

Now on to one other question, how in the world are people getting SM3DW to work? I can't get the EUR or USA versions to boot at all on either interpreter or recompiler on either of my GPUs.

Also the award trophies aren't showing properly too so don't worry much about them: http://imgur.com/a/ybzW5

Spoke to Tom Fulp the other day, if he can find his old Newgrounds site content like the mini Flash animations from the 2000's that played on the portal.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
So far no response, but he did say that he'll find them. Wayback Machine doesn't have em.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, atleast the 1999 versión of pico's school is avaliable (the difference between it, the 2006 versión and the 2016 versión is that the speed of the game depends of the speed of your computer and that it had the og soundtrack)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Another being Pico VS Bear, the original 1999 version before Jim Henson filed a DMCA takedown.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
The 2006 versión was made when the flash portal was made
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Many people thought it was lost, but was discovered that he hid it on the same page.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, although the "secrets" system where the game was has been removed. Also pico vs uberkids had a netplay versión that was shutdown, although the swf file has been found
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Nope. There are two download buttons on the same page, where you can download the original under a file called "bear.exe". "bear2.exe", however, is the updated game in a Flash projector. P.s. this was on the archived Pico page from 2000.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's been there for a long time, too. People who search for lost media don't look hard enough lmao.

@SylverReZ, also the pico 2 demos used to be only for the newgrounds patrons but they are on internet archive too (https://archive.org/download/picos_school_2)

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Iirc the demos were removed from newgrounds in 2022

@SylverReZ, or well only the demo with mindchamber's style was on newgrounds

Fun fact @SylverReZ: iirc one of the goals on the fnf Kickstarter stated that pico 2 would be finished but the Kickstarter didnt get enough money for that goal to be fullfiled

@Xdqwerty, FNF sucks, their community is toxic as hell.

@The Real Jdbye, Yea but it has a shitton of mods with their own songs and stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, and quite a lot of people involved in those mods get cancelled

Newgrounds wasn't the birth of FNF; rather, it was games where you beat up celebrities and parodies.
