Hacking ReiNX development: Seeking 4.0.0 firmware dump.

Hey all,

As part of developing CFW we need to be able to look at all existing firms in order to make patches for them. Right now we happen to have all of them except for one, which is 4.0.0 . Unfortunately it was never shipped on any gamecarts, Nintendo no longer provides it on CDN and very few users are actually on this firmware.

The only way to get it is if someone happens to be on 4.0.0 currently and can dump their nand OR if you were on it previously and dumped your nand on it before you updated. If you meet either of these conditions PLEASE contact me, reply to this thread or go on discord and let Rei, calypso or Meteos know. We will be able to provide instructions. We do not need any of your personal information or certs. The first person to do this will receive $10.

tl;dr if you have or can get a 4.0.0 nand dump we need it. $10 reward for it

Some guy said you can download any firmware updates via CDNSP~ like apps 1 mounth ago, but not know too much. Good luck/work!

Edit: Shit, I didnt see 10$ reward. Why I posted that?!:rofl2:

So, what part of the nand dump do you need? Just the System.bin?

Wow. Wanna send me that backup too? Could use a new cert for CDNSP.

Daily reminder that a nand backup has a lot of info of your personal console.

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
