It's now all working!!

i reflashed my card a further 4 more times and on the 4th time it booted correctly with the correct logo. I used "3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_3DS_NDSL.nds" i only had to do it another 2 times on my other card.

I now have Wood v1.31 on it and it appears to be working fine.

digitalforums - test this out and yours should be fixed too. "3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_3DS.rar"

could you tell me exactly what you did, ie with the other card, i have a ezflash 5 card, but am unsure as to how to update ?

if you can copy over 3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_3DS_NDSL.nds from the archive: 3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_3DS.rar and put it on your other card.

Boot up the DSlite into the menu and select the file 3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_3DS_NDSL.nds

When it comes up with the screen black and yellow writing, eject the card and put in the card that you need to update and press OK. once the process is complete turn it off and turn it back on and see if the icon has changed and everything boots up ok. You will need the latest version of Wood too.

Borrow one from a friendly shop nearby, then.
If there are also no shops nearby you'll have to try borrowing them from a stranger on the streets who happens to have a DS. If you explain your situation they will probably sympathise, especially if they are also running flashcarts (and everyone seems to use them nowadays

).

Don't worry, flashcart updates take only minutes, and will not affect the (3)DS itself (i.e. you won't brick a stranger's DS). If they are not sure about that just explain it to them.

I seem to have bricked my R4 Gold pro 2013 (for my DSi XL), I have a DSL with R4, I tried to do fwUpdateAll_V7.00.nds but doesnt work. I then tried 3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_3DSL.nds but fails the card test...

Please help.
