the DSiXL screen is about 1-2mm(or about 0.04-0.08") wider than the 3DS screen, and about 1CM(i think about 0.4") taller.
note that these are rough estimations done without any measuring tools.

Does DSi enhanced stuff (Including homebrew compiled to use the full DSi Processor) Work?
DSi enhanced games (like Pokemon Black and White) have their enhancements here. However, we can't run ANY type of homebrew for DSi. Only homebrew run from a flashcart.

How does the D-pad feel? Like, is it uncomfortable to use it since it's so low?
The D-pad is really nice, like the buttons. It's clicky (REALLY clicky) and gives a lot of nice feedback.

The positioning is surprisingly perfect. It doesn't hurt to hold it like that, and it's comfortable to use.

Agreed. I haven't used it much, but it does feel great.
Also wanted to throw this in here; the surround sound is amazing! I was playing Face Raiders just now, and I could swear that I could hear a sound on my right. I couldn't figure out what it was, but when I paused the game it disappeared. The sound was a "face" on my right side. It was incredible, it was like if I had a speaker on my right ear.

I have a question. While playing at best buy yesterday, I noticed that whenever I turned 3D mode on, the top screen became dim. Can I stop that from happening?

What wifi settings does the 3ds support??
Security?
Open, WEP, WPA and WPA2.
In other words, all.

It's 802.11g, works with a and b too.

I opened this thread so the (losers) non-3DS owners can ask the 3DS owners questions they wanna know.
How very nice of you.

And.. just to clarify.. you can send 16 character messages? As in .. 'the' = 3 characters? Because that's like...

Hello. What's up?

What 3ds firmware is installed? (without updating) is it compatible with flashcarts? + is there updates on any game cartridges? (like wii games)

What about the Graphics, it looks better than the PSP?
Yes, capable of wii graphics.

Guess it different than the FAQ.

One question. Does the battery life of the 3DS seem significantly shorter as compared to the previous DSes you have played (after a full charge)?

the nintendo wifi adapter still works too

Yeah, only the usb software doesn't run anymore on windows 7 (i have home premium so no way to install xp mode)
Anyone know alternative software for the usb stick.

Btw. My 3ds uses the highest wireless security (wpa2+tkip) i think, on the previous handhelds this meaned i couldn't play online, is this also the case again with the 3ds?

The d-pad is the best one I have ever used on a handheld. Finally Nintendo got the buttons on a handheld perfect

including the shoulder buttons. My only complaint with the design is how small the machine is! It gives me hand cramps when playing street fighter.

The 3ds when i put it on brightness 3 WITHOUT power saver mode on it lasted a good 8-9hours before red battery and i put it on the stand.
When it first comes NO flashkards unless been given 3ds patch, have worked (SC DS2, AK2i*AKAIO*are ones i mainly tested) The 3d effect is amazing with the AR cards :3
It supports any wifi NO JOKE
Since update just to get it over with flashkards still dont work but non of them have released their 3ds fixes ;D
Overall epic console and alot better than sonys psp quality. Street fighter is epic and monkeyball isnt too shabby considering its reviews xD
