Hacking Question about Gateway and Luma3DS

I have a N3DS with 11.2 Firmware. As far as I know I cannot use the Gateway 3DS card. There where however a website with a tutorial that lets me downgrade the firmware down to version 2, I think. Is this possible to do with a N3DS or are there other helpfull tools which let me install 3DS files?

Do you care about retaining the use of your Gateway card? If you don't care about Gateway specifically and just want a hacked 3DS, you can go here for installation instructions that work on 11.2.0. Note that downgrading to 2.1.0 is no longer required.

You can use GodMode9 to create an emuNAND. But if you aren't already using Gateway, why do you want to start? It's like taking up smoking or alcoholism - once someone is a smoker you can sympathise with them wanting to continue. But if you aren't already...

If I'm right, Gateway has best cheats to 3DS? That's why I'm still using it with b9s.

If you want to continue to use your Gateway Card then dp what has already been suggested in this thread. When done you can make an emunand using he Gateway menu (holding L + Select when you see the dragon logo). Just make sure you stay on 11.2 and that you emunand with Gateway.

Correct, nothing comes close to gateway cheat engine. And direct .3ds support is awesome so feel free to ignore Quantumcat and other gateway haters that have to idea what they're talking about

Everything worked good. I even created an EMunand with Godmode9. Problem now is that the Dragonlogo comes up and then I get the error message that "No Gateway 3DS card found!"
The card was around a year not used.

Seems that it works at the moment.
One more thing.
To unlink the nands do I have to format the sysnand again? If so do I have to create the FBI H&S again (and everything else, too)?

Erm, Quantumcat is not a Gateway hater. She just speaks the truth. She never implied a Gateway was 100% useless and she gave links to a tutorial about how to use it instead.

I could agree that this post was not a free ad for Gateway. But

1. I agree with it. If you don't have a Gateway, you have no way to know their cheat system is so great. So you don't miss it. Especially if you don't use cheats actually...
2. do your research. I'm telling you Quantumcat isn't a Gateway hater. Otherwise, this post would deny what it quoted instead of agreeing (this is just an example).

Thats why you should post pros and cons of gateway and not some random BS like "why do you want to start alcoholism?!"

When I try to use cia files how can I convert 3ds files to that format. I found a tool called 3ds simple cia converter. But it seems that I need xorpads for that program. Luma does not create xorpads or does it?

It is quite irritating to hear each time some member asks a question or help about Gateway, we have to hear straight off the bat the "Why do you want to use GW and it sucks and use so and so CFW instead because it is so great and btw GW sucks A$$"

Franken firmware 11.3/11.4 works perfectly fine, no issues.
