Hacking Question about DS paddle used in Arkanoid DS and Space Invaders Extrem

So earlier last month I bought a DS paddle online to play Arkanoid DS and Space Invaders Extreme and I like it very much. My question is whether I can use the paddle in other games? I didn't try using it with other games yet fearing it would damage my DS or games.

Can I for example use it to play Bust-A-Move? Maybe there is a list? Any other games you would recommend playing with the paddle if I can freely use it?

Okay I see. So basically the paddle has to be supported by the game in order to use it. And I suppose the 2 Taito games I mentioned are the only ones officialy supported.
