Hacking PSV Slim crashing when I attempt to install Henkaku

I updated my main Vita for PSN stuff after I convinced my brother to keep his Slim on a lower firmware, but now that I'm attempting to Homebrew his Vita it won't work

I get the "Welcome to Henkaku" message, and if it doesn't get an error then the screen goes black but none of the Molecule stuff shows up, after a few seconds the Vita turns off and when I turn it back on nothing happened

I hope somebody can help, I'll be super upset if I lost my Homebrew access

edit: Just to be clear yes I made sure his is still on 3.60

Make sure you have memory card inside the Vita.

make sure your on the henkaku address

Oh right I'm stupid, he doesn't have a mem card
