Hardware PSP 3000

I got offered a psp 3000 with 4gb memory card for 40 euros. I currently own a PSP 1004.

Should I get the psp 3000 and is it worth 40 euros?

I'd say do it. Keep the older PSP as backup, just in case. Or sell it.

It was from ebay iirc, my purchase history doesn't show it anymore if it was from there. The local EB Games/JB Hi-fi stores were charging more than that for the unit only ($120-$150), plus it was in like-new condition and came with a bunch of assesories so I didn't mind too much. I know it wasn't the best, but I was specifically looking for a 1000 as everything I could find at the time implied that the later models weren't easily hackable, so for my first time it seemed good

I ended up sniping a deal on a GO about 2 months ago so it's mainly a backup now or for my younger brother to play on sometimes.

Ah okay. I bought mine pre-owned so I think thats why it was a lot cheaper. I was thinking of getting a Go but I have a 2000 so I don't know if its worth it.

I got my 1000 with 6 games, a couple of cases and a little stand for £40 from a friend, which was and in my opinion still is a fantastic deal. I still have it, and with it being a 1000, it means I can also use it as a backup remote control thanks to the infrared port.

Got the Psp turns out it is a 2000 and not a 3000. Seems to function properly but you clearly see that it has been used. So far I'm quite pleased, sure is lighter than my 1004

It's also like half the depth.

I had heard it described here, that the 2000/3000 is for if you want just the handheld, while the 1000 is if you need both a handheld and a weapon.

Updated to 6.60 Pro b 10. . Now could anyone advice me on a nice new shiny psp 2000 housing?
