I dont think it’s dead but I can see where the op is coming from. It just seems to be moving forward very slowly.

And before anyone says it, yes, most people on 4.05 waiting for brew are mainly waiting for the ability to run games.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
