sounds like your usb may be corrupt or your download is corrupt.I'm gonna have to give up on this for now. It is taking too much time and I am getting nowhere. Hopefully a follow-up release makes it more reliable.
yes. it will only work if it says success and reboots the system itself. This is embarrasing.
I followed https://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/how-to-install-ps3xploit.1687612/ and everything is well except for the last step, I just can't install Rebug, I keep getting a "The data is corrupted (8002f169)" message and I'm really out of ideas. I'm sure I didn't do wrong.
Site says "Redo the exploit and try again", they mean they want me to go to the redtrainer site and do everything from scratch all over again?
It did reboot itself.sounds like your usb may be corrupt or your download is corrupt.

might be because the download is corrupt or something. you could always use the rogero downgrader, downgrade to 3.55 and install rebug from thereIt did reboot itself.
I mean, I installed Ferrox successfully and ran the QA thing.

At what point would you suggest redownloading and trying again?might be because the download is corrupt or something. you could always use the rogero downgrader, downgrade to 3.55 and install rebug from there
PS3UPDAT.PUPI have a question. the tutorial says to "rename the PUP"... rename it to what? I assume to ps4update.pup but im not sure enough to try
so was right aside from the typoPS3UPDAT.PUP
Well, redownloading Ferrox did nothing. Still sticks at 71% with 8002F957
How do you check the md5? I see it on the ferrox download page but no idea what to do with that information.I am in the same boat. I redownloaded Ferrox and checked the MD5 multiple times. Still fails. around 71% or 73%. I tried 3 different USB's but I believe they are all USB 3.0. Can't currently find any USB 2.0's laying around to try. Also tried to update in recovery mode a few times as well it just says the update is corrupt.

Yeep, same for me. Let me know if you find a solution or if brute force gets it for you, I'm taking a damn dinner break.I searched md5 checker on google and downloaded the first program that popped up from http://getmd5checker.com/download
Then I just dragged the file into the md5 checker and the number it gave me was correct.
