Hacking Ps3Xploit - Now Install CFW from 4.82 OFW : NOR/NAND Software Flash Writer + NOR Dumper Released
This is embarrasing.
I followed https://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/how-to-install-ps3xploit.1687612/ and everything is well except for the last step, I just can't install Rebug, I keep getting a "The data is corrupted (8002f169)" message and I'm really out of ideas. I'm sure I didn't do wrong.
Site says "Redo the exploit and try again", they mean they want me to go to the redtrainer site and do everything from scratch all over again?

sounds like your usb may be corrupt or your download is corrupt.

yes. it will only work if it says success and reboots the system itself.
It did reboot itself.
I mean, I installed Ferrox successfully and ran the QA thing.
might be because the download is corrupt or something. you could always use the rogero downgrader, downgrade to 3.55 and install rebug from there
I've used 3 USB drives. The exploit just hangs forever. Switched to Wifi and back to LAN. After database check, did a proper reboot. Cleared everything out of the browser. 10 minutes, nothing. The USB drives were all 2.0, FAT32. Only differences were capacities(a 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB). Minver indicates my 25xx slim is a 3.40.
I do believe this works and I successfully dumped my NOR, but writing to NOR returns a success result, but perpetually hangs. No idea what else I can do besides sink more hours into this.
I have a question. the tutorial says to "rename the PUP"... rename it to what? I assume to ps3update.pup but im not sure enough to try

I am in the same boat. I redownloaded Ferrox and checked the MD5 multiple times. Still fails. around 71% or 73%. I tried 3 different USB's but I believe they are all USB 3.0. Can't currently find any USB 2.0's laying around to try. Also tried to update in recovery mode a few times as well it just says the update is corrupt.
How do you check the md5? I see it on the ferrox download page but no idea what to do with that information.
I searched md5 checker on google and downloaded the first program that popped up from http://getmd5checker.com/download
Then I just dragged the file into the md5 checker and the number it gave me was correct.
Im doing the steps of the guide im confused, do i need to install the QA_Tongle and then install the cfw 4.81 and for the end i need to update again from cfw 4.81?, i already installed cfw ferox on 4.82 and now shows the pkg installer in the menu can i leave like this or i have to do all the steps, sorry im a bit confused :c
Yeep, same for me. Let me know if you find a solution or if brute force gets it for you, I'm taking a damn dinner break.

first of all, being in a relationship with someone who's 18 is technically ok, as long as it started when they were 18, but the age gap is still weird depending on how old you are. besides, the age of consent differs between different states -

so you should have that extra time to mature and think rationally before going to serve in the military or vote -

What about making kids wait till 18 or 21 to drive? And yea is messed up, you can join army and die for your country at age 18, but you can't drink alcohol or smoke a cig til 21, is ridiculous+3
