    Okay, VGMTrans is not helping me here. Just about 75% of the music in the game cannot be retrieved using VGMTrans.
    I need a tool that does just about what VGMTrans did, but is more up to date.

    I wanted the music so that I could piece it together in Fruity Loops Studio and then convert it into an .mp3 and loop it like I have been with VGMTrans.

    If one does not exist, then can somebody make one!?
    I don't want to record from my microphone because the sound quality is crap.

    Try ndssndext.

    Seems to be working fine here.

    What's the problem with VGMTrans? Can't you save the music or doesn't the program find it? I've never had any major problems with VGMTrans so I'm just curious to know what the problem is for you.

    VGMTrans has about 75% of the files that it pull up, blank. 1KB in size. No music form them.
    I was looking for the dungeon themes, and none could be found.
    I did find the tittle theme for Phantom Hourglass.
    I guess the just copied the ROM and hacked the maps, eh?

    @Pendor
    I am going to give ndssndext a try, if Google will allow me to freak'n find it and not link me to a "Reported Attack Site" THANX FIREFOX!

    There was a topic on here somewhere that I had found a link for ndssndext in. I have the music ripped but it's midi files, and all the instruments got changed so it sounds all different. Makes decent phone ringtones though. lol

    I really need the train theme, in midi format. I'm trying to make sheet music and tabs for my ocarina. Do you think you can upload it please?

    Okay, I can fully rip all of the SEQ files and it converts them into .mid
    Now, how do I make it take the BANK files from the ROM? I thought I could just re-map the samples but it takes ALL OF THE SOUNDS FROM THE DAMN GAME!
    It's over nine-thousand .WAV files to go through!
    How do I make it take the BANK files from the SEQ file?
    I know VGMTrans would
    SEQ -> MID
    BANK -> DLS
    SAMPLE -> WAV

    NDSSDEXT only does SEQ and SAMPLE? No BANK?
    Dang, guess I'll never rip high quality DS music...and no recording right from the game will have any and all SFX that play also recorded. (The Engine sound in Mario Kart for instance.)

    Okay, here is my work-arround right now.
    I am using NDSSDEXT to extract and convert the SEQ and WAVs.
    I am then opening VGMTrans and extracting the SBANK files.
    Hopefully with the music that was 1kb and silent won't mean the sample bank data was lost.

    @Aeladya
    I'll see what I can do about getting the train theme uploaded.
    First I need to find the MIDI and then I need to find the correct SBANK file, it may take some time.
    Also, the train has many themes.
    1 Tutorail Theme
    2 Normal Theme
    3 Iteration of Normal Theme (Slow Gear, Reverse Gear)
    4 Iteration of Normal Theme (Stopped)
    5 Cursed Lands
    6 Trainside Battle
    7 Pirates Attack!

    Well the one I'm looking for is the one from the trailer, I think that was the normal theme. Also this one would be great as well. Unfortunately Finale Notepad only accepts midi's, and creating the sheet music myself is rather difficult as I have ADHD [IMG].
