And it seems he goes on irc more anyways, so it doesn't really matter.

And DieForIt is also a guest now... only his account name is still displayed full, still has the ribbons and title, but no avatar and his groups is under "guests"

Yeah, I just saw it. He doesn't come this site anymore. His groups are Guests could be a forum bug.

It's not, he was moved to that group by request.
