Gaming Problem with MSN/Default IE

So I recently decided to switch to Opera as a default web browser.

I uninstalled IE 8 and the resulting IE 7 after that.

I set Opera as my default browser.
However, in MSN, when I click the "e-mail" button, it opens up in IE 6.
I read that IE 6 shouldn't be uninstalled in any way so I'm looking for another route.

Some people have apparently, made their "e-mail" button open up in Firefox or GChrome, but mine won't open in Opera. D:

Any ideas?

Firstly: opera is shit
Secondly: associate opera with mail

you'd have to be retarded not to have know that
