I have just created a Club Nintendo Account for UK and Ireland (as I don't have Romania as an option).
When I try to link it to Wii U from eShop menu I just get an error with wrong email or password.
On the PC I can access the ClubNintendo just fine, so there are no issues of wrong email/pass.
WTF?
On the other hand if I try to log in from the main Club Nintendo on PC - https://club.nintendo.com/ , which I think is for US, I also get an error.
Anyone from UK managed to link his Wii U to Club Nintendo?
