Gateway buyer here (and still current user of it) and I dont regret a single $ spent on it considering the amount of games I "acquired" and team support over the years
And this will be the same, I already purchased an sx yet I dont even own a switch atm.

I just paid 40$ and i will get ((dongle + jig+ free case + backup loader)) from switchsx dot com thats less then 60$ which is a SINGLE game price.
If u dont like TX dont buy there products.
Every one is entitled to spend there money how ever they want.

I think this threads a little bit over hyped up but never mind. Talking about this subject I ordered mine from R4Card.co.uk I think Monday but it did say on it Royal Mail 8 - 10 days delivery time so if it came to the reseller on the 15th June are they saying it wont come through the post box until say the 26th June at the latest near the end of the month or is the 8 - 10 days just a random day and you should take no notice this is for the uk by the way does anyone from the uk got any idea on this postage time situation on this site because 8 - 10 days royal mail delivery seems along time to me, surely?

on 15th june the main supplier is going to push the supplies they will ship mainly from china on 15/16 and my guess others on 20th the ones in europe or usa
i got mine from a site saying it ships from usa but he ships from china when i talked with them
i dont care i got it dhl either way

Well you still get the highest quality RCM dongle and a very nice automated paylod chip and will support atmosphere and any other custom payload, so its never wasted money at least until something permanent comes for your Switch FW (AKA Softmod)...

And even the softmod might require first entering RCM and adding something to the console to set it up and if it goes that way you also could use TX hardware 4 it...

ps: And yeah, you can use a phone, but I think nothing is more pratical than a small device with a nice quality RCM jig even though I haven't bought it too.

Yep and everyone now say mehh GW waste of money, but I bought it when it came out and there was no other way of doing it for quite some time...

And in fact I still use GW emunand, I have updated to last FW using a updater.cia and some updates since GW never updated, but it worked though this is on my 2GB original SD just to play Steamworld Dig 2, because my main emunand is on my other 16GB SD, but its like on FW11.3 can't remember, I won't probably bother updating it to the last FW like I did on the 2GB SD emunand...

"I did preorder so i should be getting it day one" What other uses could it have? I like the idea of the dongle, but mad at them not making a pass through so it can charge the switch with microUSB, my only gripe for now.

Maybe I could use it to hack my refrigerator/smart tv or something if properly reversed engineered software wise, ya never know play doom on my fridge LCD screen

I will try to do it however I welcome anybody with photoshop skills to take a shot at it. Change it to "I Hacked Mine!"
Other options could be "I SX'd Mine!" "I Dongle'd Mine!" lol

I was going to pay DHL delivery but you still had a 5 - 7 day wait over royal mail which was 8 - 10 so no point and it was like "£17.99p" extra over the £4.49p GBPounds royal mail, its not worth it for saving a couple of days difference! If it was say just 2 - 3 days I might of done it.
