As you all know, Pokebank will be available for us in December where we can transfer our pokes from BW/BW2 to our awesome X/Y game to finally complete the legendary pokedex which Ash never did. Now the inevitable question is, what about all those hacked Pokemon? This will greatly affect online to a greater extent where vast amount of Pokemon with perfect IV's will come and flood the online WiFi battles and making hours and hours of IV breeding feel wasted. They did mention that they will have checks to make sure hacked Pokemon won't get through, but be honest. They have never been good at preventing things like this, especially when hacked Pokemon can be made so that they can't be seen any different from a legal Pokemon.
Well here's my stance about this:
This clearly undermines the time people spent to get what they want. But even so I wouldn't mind at all. Why is that? Simple. Because compared to last gen, it takes less time than ever before to get perfect IV's on a Pokemon(I consider 5 perfect IV's to be a perfect Pokemon with a very few exceptions) through wasted time of breeding. If I was lucky i would finish it within a hour, and if I'm unlucky it could take all the way up to 6 hours. The breeding is now way less RNG'ed then it used to be than ever thanks to Destiny Knot and the remake of Everstone. For people wondering, i do both breeding and hacked pokemon, and i could say frustration on never getting what you want can be very tedious when spending over 20 hours moving your character left and right.
Here's a great quote from someone that explains it very well as for why it wouldn't really matter.
That being said, this wouldn't even faze the competitive game of Pokemon, because having a team of Pokemon with perfect IV's is a norm. You will be eaten alive if you don't come at least this prepared. It will however hurt the casual audience and kids who plays it in an attempt at trying to gather the most 100's Pokemon they can, despite the online only requires yours to be at level 50 at most.
What about you guys? What do you guys feel about this? And try to keep your cool and discuss this, as this can easily go out of hand.
And for those that are saying getting hacked Pokemon is illegal, then go and take a good look at the tournaments being held for the DS franchise. None and i say none that won them had legal Pokemon acquired through hard work of breeding. I tell you that. And this isn't even the point of the thread.
TL;DR: Winter is coming

How? >.> I don't understand this logic. You wouldn't mow the lawn with a push mower if you were able to use a riding mower would you? It's practically the same thing. If you wanted to use a push-mower over the riding mower for whatever reason, that's fine, you can do it. But that doesn't mean the dude using the riding mower can't do it his way because he wants to be done with it faster. It devalues my time spent getting what I want.
Imagine, for one second if you please, that you're someone using a riding mower to mow a lawn. You really like using the riding one because it shaves off 80%(or however much) of the time it takes to mow the lawn. Then, someone comes up to you and tells you that you are ruining the fun he has mowing his lawn with a push mower because you're making it way too easy, you're "devaluing" the time he takes to mow his lawn. So, what would you do? You wouldn't agree with him and get a push mower, you'd tell him to stop being stupid -- I hope.
Before you tell me that it's a bad analogy, it's really not. Because hacking(legal) Pokemon is essentially the same thing in a different context. You have fun doing it the "hard" way because there's a sense of accomplishment. Okay, that's fine. Does that mean it's okay for you to bash someone because they don't feel an accomplishment in the same way and don't want to spend the admittedly large amount of time raising the Pokemon from scratch? No, I don't think so. It's completely understandable for someone to want to take the tedium out of what he's doing(whether it being mowing the lawn, or raising Pokemon).
I'd just like to note that I've never seen a "hacker" tell someone off for not hacking, but only people who have this idea that they're morally better because they bred their Pokemon. Funny how that works, eh?
