I see; thanks for your reply! I guess a more viable option would be to wait for Gateway to support 9.x and download the demo from the eShop so that I have a legit demo and a legit physical cart. The real question would be if it'd be possible to transfer the Pokémon/items from the legit demo to the legit cart from emuNAND/Classic Mode. Theoretically, sounds like that'd be possible but you never know. Anywho, I'm rambling. Thanks

I'm way more surprised about the amount of people expecting games to stop working with gateway so soon... 7.x encryption was first unloaded into youtube app then WAY later got into on game and EVEN LATER into many system processes of the nand.... Almost no games got it ( did even smash bross had it or it was just in need of 7.x system features like gateway said) , a 100 % of the games that are not of nintendo don't have it. It was cracked 1-1 1/2 months ago... and you really expect nintendo to deploy out of nowhere another encrpytion or security method JUST for pokemon without having tested it anywhere else??

Well, Nintendo Started using 7.x Crypto (Secure 2) on games since 7.2.0, Smash bros and recent games are using The 7.x crypto

Even that demo are using 7.x Crypto, so it's not possible for the masses decrypt the game

I got Pokémon Y from the eShop for free legitimately using the promotion earlier this year, and I've been playing it on emuNAND ever since. I also bought a subscription to Bank and can confirm they both work just fine on emuNAND. You may be on to something

Not all games, but nintendo started using Secure2 for their games since 7.2.0

ORAS is built off the X/Y engine, which had notable framerate problems. It's disappointing to hear Gamefreak still hasn't fixed those.

Even with the 3D off in X/Y, the framerate would dive in battles whenever a split screen occurred between trainer and opponent.

Yeah it was kind of offputting to see framerate drop when the only things being rendered on screen are two pokemon, good grief
