Ok guys... I will post here a thread that I made in Emuforums, so we can also discuss this issue here on GBAtemp
POKEMON BLACK & WHITE NO$GBA FIX CODES
Japanese (J) ----- FIXED
English (E) ------- FIXED
Spanish (E) ------ FIXED
French (E) ------- FIXED
German (E) ------ NOT FIXED
If someone found/made new codes please report it.
You should put these codes as Action Replay DS
Every time you start the game you should tick the Cheat code box, and then reset the game. Otherwise you will still get this error screen.
The fix code still doesn't work for me. The (E) stands for European version, right? That's the version I have, I believe. There's a flag icon on the site where I downloaded the ROM that is blue and has stars (they're small, but I'm sure those are stars) arranged in a circle, and I'm very sure that flag symbolizes Europe.
I'm using the SweeTnDs release with the above code, and the game starts and runs fine. However it seems to freeze in the battle screen every 5 encounters or so. The music continues to play, but the pokemon sway from side to side, and the 'fight' option below disappears.
Anyone else having the same problem, or know a way around it? I did read somewhere that firmware may be the issue?
I have the same problem, gravydeath
up until now I've been ignoring it by saving after every battle but now I reached dragon spiral tower and I can't get past the team plasma guys cuz I have to beat 4 in a row...........
I always get stuck on the third..........
I have a problem and if someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I started my save file on Desume and got pretty far but now I want to play on No$GBA because it's much faster.
Basically, I have an exported Desume file and I want to load it on no$GBA but it's not loading.
Maybe there is already a solution but I have this annoying thing....Every 2 or 3 fights, the fight button is missing on my screen...Does someone can help me?

My 5 year old laptop has problems like this. If you're using no$zoomer that might be the problem if you have a bad computer like mine. Also I found starting a new game with the "Master Code", Blue screen fix, save game fix, 3d render fix, and some others all at once made my game randomly freeze or have other problems. I would suggest starting a new game with the minimum amount of codes. For example, my laptop doesn't have the blue screen problem so that code is completely useless. The laptop runs pokemon with just the master code and save game fix. Once i get a pokemon and fight the first couple battles I am able to save and reset the rom with the 3d render fix. My game has worked fine except for the occasional hiccup when entering a building.

I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
