I am using V5 of the black version AND THATS IT. (Do I need the Rudolph patch for the V5?)

When I save the state it saves as all "0" and when I try to load it, the game resets!


I really want to play, but I don't want to start until I can save. What am I doing wrong?? I have searched this forum multiple times and can not get it to work!

get a different game. the one you downloaded apparently sucks. also you're not using the right codes, you only need TWO.

it was black you needed help with, right? use ONLY those 2 and keep them on at all times. Also, use No$Zoomer with your no$gba 2.6a. the latest No$zoomer is 2.3.0.2. it works much better on that. also if you lag, disable the Extras (EX0 thru EX5). I always have to repeat myself because of people such as yourself not checking throughly enough through the forum lol...but i hope this helps.

With V5 of the translation and Rudolf's patch V4 as well as the code below I am able to save, conditioned I have at least one Japanese character in my player name. Hopefully this will help those who still are having problems.

Also, if you are having further trouble, load the cartridge directly, rather than through the BIOs, which can be changed in the Options under No$GBA Settings-Reset/Startup Entrypoint.

Furthermore, if you are having trouble loading the save, try restarting the game under File-Reset. This seems to be my solution.

download the pre-patched version and use the two codes it'll work fine
plus V5 is not fully translated
there are still some Japanese dialogue left
like in dream world and some northern part of the map

YOU DONT NEED NO$ZOOMER WITH THOSE CODES
YOU CAN DISABLE THE AP CODE AFTER RESETING CARTRIDGE AND GAME WILL STILL WORK PERFECTLY

I've beaten everything and everyone in the game without crashes, so I am quite sure of it^^

simple fix. maybe you're either not using the right codes (use mine, not these others, they aren't going to work as good) or you need to use No$Zoomer 2.3.0.2...one of those. if it helps, i'll be glad.

Does anybody know why after press start to access title menu -new games, mystery gift etc, the title menu not appear?

tested with desmume it seems fine but with nogba it doesn't show the title menu

Screen is bigger, it looks better overall, you can speed it up, etc...
