PlayStation Plus membership cost to go up in Europe/Australia
Once Sony hikes up the prices once more those "free" games will become even better of a deal.Pay 60 Euro to get "free" games. Makes sense. :-)
Read comments from folks who said they stacked up till 2020. I mean, that seems excessive but they decide what they want to do with their wallet.I guess you could buy a few prepaid year passes if you plan to keep psn+ for the foreseeable future, or to resell once the price hite tajes effect and make a sneaky profit, if I was running a game retailer I would just invest in a hundred or so now to make a tidy profit on and cut sony out of the price hike
Muh online console subscription is way better than your PC online gaming.Pc mustard race rulez, get folk all you consol peasants luul
One could beg to differ after HumbleBundle started their Monthly system. Easily the best value after PS+ took a dive in game quality after the PS4 release.Muh online console subscription is way better than your PC online gaming.
Hm... Crash Bandicoot?Dumb move, even if needed.
I was planning on getting a PS4 ( Pro ) again, but now I am not so sure anymore.
A decent gaming PC Seems all the more tempting now......
What are the exclusives besides, uncharted and God of War?
Uh you mean borrow those games. Remember if your subscriptions ends, no more ps+ games. Besides 60,- is not "free". basically you pay for renting and acces.Pay 60 Euro to get "free" games. Makes sense. :-)
No, thank you, I rather play a good game ( though crash of Wii was nice back in the day )Hm... Crash Bandicoot?
Again 60 dollars is 51 euro so still a 9 euro price increase over the increase in the US wich amounts to 10 dollars
yeah, that's the problem with Europe and console's price.
they usually pick the same number...
60$ and 60€ for PS+ 1 year
The Nintendo Switch is 389€ in Europe, and 389$ in USA too. (384 to be precise)
see how the prices work ?
Theres only a tax charge if you buy the cards from physical retailers. Subscribing via Sony is tax free, or buying cards off of eBay as well.US prices don't include tax. Difference in PS+ price pretty much comes down to the vat in EU. Might not like it, but the raise is basically inline with the US raise and then tax on top.
Pretty much same deal with the console. $389 is €330 + vat at 20% (correct me if I'm wrong, but it's around that in most eu countries) is €396.
So if it's €389, your pre-tax price is slightly lower than the us.
Yeah you can't buy without tax, but that isn't Sony/Nintendo/X companies fault. The price set is practically the same as the US, it's the local tax that pushes it over.
I respect your opinion despite disagreeing completely. No, thank you, I rather play a good game ( though crash of Wii was nice back in the day )
You can but if you spend so much money to stack it up and then end up not using then it's just not worth it.can you like, grab like 5 of the ps plus cards, fill the account and done, got ps plus "for life" ?
Unfortunately, maintaining servers isn't free. Those who believe we shouldn't pay for online services are wrong. The last thing I want to see rise up, is a Free To Play online service. We all know the absolute crap fest that F2P brings. We don't need that.
