    Oh-Hi-Oh
    I have a 3.2 firmware Wii. Playing my games from USB loader from my external HDD.

    I know that Gamecube games can be played on the Wii; but how would I get a backup Gamecube game to play?

    Thx!!

    you can download the program called Devolution from the forums here to copy your gc games to the drive, and as long as you have the latest version of usb loader gx, you can see the game in the loader, and tell it to load via devolution

    Still Here
    Devolution is for wii

    @theweAve
    your question can be (mis)read two ways......
    do you want to know how to get the backup, or how to get a backup to work?

    if its the latter then _acid_'s post will help
    if its the first then I'll have to PM you
    :)

    What is the best solution for GC games from Wii USB? From what i understand:
    Devolution is for ripped copies of games with antipiracy measures
    DIOS MIOS is weaker?
    DIOS MIOS lite is for running them off of the SD card?

    well, my old post, the only real differences are that DM(L) can now do multi-disk game switching and save screenshots ... and Devolution can now do the Widescreen hack and GC Keyboard emulation

    Other than that, I think the info's still the same.
